This event has been postponed until Fall, due to illness.
Since January, we've been actively assisting Cortesian solopreneurs, artists, makers, and small businesses, and it's been incredibly rewarding to witness the emergence of new ventures and to provide support to those of you who have been navigating this journey independently.
Throughout this process, we've identified common areas where Cortes Island businesses require the most support. As a result, we've been diligently working on developing FREE curated workshops tailored to the needs of the business and entrepreneurial community.
Our first workshop in the series is on Creative Marketing and will take place on May 11th from 10 AM to 2 PM at Manson's Hall in the Pioneer Room, hosted by expert in her field, Sachia Kron.
Here’s what you’ll learn:
How to identify your ideal customer
Develop your brand identity
Develop simple, effective messaging
Define the value of your product/service
Write for web, social and email campaigns
A note from our facilitator:
‘If you're like most small businesses or entrepreneurs, you've poured your heart and soul into your work. You believe in the value of what you offer, but you may struggle with promoting yourself without feeling too pushy or worry that your message isn't hitting the mark.
Rest assured, you're not alone—many of us grapple with these thoughts.
Crafting a compelling message that resonates with our customers and effectively communicates how we can fulfill their needs requires skill and practice.
This workshop is designed to help you cultivate a deeper understanding of your customer base and lay the groundwork for developing straightforward, impactful messaging across various platforms, including in-person sales, websites, social media, and email campaigns.
We look forward to seeing you there!
Refreshments will be provided. Please RSVP if you plan on attending: tamlyn@cceda.ca
Stay tuned for more FREE workshops, including one focusing on bookkeeping!
In the meantime, if you're self-employed, an entrepreneur, a small business owner, or an
artist or maker seeking support for your business, please don't hesitate to reach out to
Tamlyn with any questions at tamlyn@cceda.ca.
